As we gather for our virtual office meeting each morning, we re-evaluate the COVID -19 situation. Although our physical office is closed, and our employees are home safe, we are still “open” for business. We are taking the following steps to help mitigate confusion and concern while still serving our clients as best we can under the circumstances. We are calling each of our clients who are scheduled for a meeting and discussing the possibility of a phone call or video call. We are in the process of having Ashley and Evin certified as online notaries which will enable us to have video signing appointments. We are trying to reschedule all of our seasonal meetings into the next couple of weeks to ensure that estate plans and succession plans are complete. Our office phone is being forwarded to Ashley’s cell phone, so please feel free to leave a message even if you do not hear the “normal” Wright & Moore voicemail message. We are always available by phone.
Flexibility and creativity is essential at this time and we will continue to come up with creative ways to get the job done. We all know what it is like to make complicated decisions for our family businesses. We will do what we can to ease your fears, answer your questions, and continue to serve the farming community in the new “normal” manner.
As always, we will continue to take all appropriate measures to keep our Wright & Moore family safe!
2022 is bringing a year of change at Wright & Moore! After ten years of owning the firm, Robert and Kelly Moore found their successor in Ryan Conklin. The Moores are transitioning management and ownership of Wright & Moore to Ryan to allow for more family time and so Robert could accept a new role with Ohio State Extension.
Evin is now splitting time between Wright & Moore and a firm in his hometown of Celina. Meanwhile, Ashley is continuing her legal education with the goal of becoming an attorney with Wright & Moore. Lastly, we recently added a new office manager, Tori Snow, so that Ashley could spend more time on billable work. Lots of exciting changes within our office family!
Although Wright & Moore has always maintained its commitment to helping farmers across Ohio, geographic boundaries are unavoidable when attempting to work out of central Ohio. In 2021, Evin presented us with an exciting opportunity to grow our firm and better reach farmers and landowners in our state.
As part of his purchase of Purdy Lammers & Schiavone in Celina, Evin is now assisting Wright & Moore clients and partners in that area. Evin is glad to be working back home while continuing to with our firm. Establishing a new office outside of Delaware is a major step for our firm, and we are look forward to fulfilling the needs of our clients and partners in western Ohio.

Agritourism annually attracts thousands of visitors to Ohio farms. Let's work together on a safe, fun experience for your guests.
Farmland is your family’s most precious asset. Whether you use that ground to put out a crop, or collect rent as a landlord, your land demands special attention.
Often times when a family is struggling with the transition of the farm, it helps to sit down with a third party who can facilitate discussion and communication.
Wright & Moore participates in many presentations each year to various farm groups. We are capable of speaking on a variety of topics related to agricultural law.
